Staten Island Zoo is a wildlife facility where visitors meet and observe animals throughout the grounds. The Conservation Carousel operates on weekends, Wednesdays, and school holidays, while the Kids Korral provides another hands-on area for younger visitors. The zoo hosts seasonal events such as Rattlemania, focused on close encounters with snakes, and Spooktacular, an evening attraction. Educational programs and birthday parties are available for groups. The Zoo Café on the grounds serves hamburgers, hotdogs, grilled cheese, veggie burgers, plant-based chicken nuggets, salads, snacks, and ice cream. Visitors may also bring their own food to picnic at covered pavilions and outdoor tables. The zoo is located in Staten Island, New York, and is open daily with free parking available on-site.
