About Museum of Broadway

Museum of Broadway features THE CRAFT OF PUPPETRY, a special exhibit exploring how hand-and-rod puppets and string marionettes are designed for the Broadway stage, with a spotlight on the 2023 production of Life of Pi. Visitors walk through Broadway's documented history starting in 1732, encountering exhibits on groundbreaking moments. The experience includes a Map Room with immersive video projections tracking theater migration across New York City, a Timeline traveling from Broadway's birth to the present day, and a Making of a Broadway Show section revealing how professionals bring productions to life. Guests view costumes up close and go backstage with favorite Broadway stars to learn how a show is made. Located at 145 West 45th Street in Times Square, the museum charges admission with prices published online at themuseumofbroadway.com. Parties of four or more receive one free ticket when purchasing three or more admissions.
