About Mary Kay Museum

The Mary Kay Museum occupies 3,500 square feet on the ground floor of Mary Kay Inc.'s world headquarters in Addison, north of Dallas, and is open to the public for self-guided tours. Visitors explore exhibits documenting the history of Mary Kay Corporation and the life of founder Mary Kay Ash, including her first checkbook, starter kits from various years, and historical photographs and newspaper clippings. A 40-seat theater shows films and clips about Mary Kay Ash and the company's development. The museum displays an extensive fashion collection featuring dresses designed by American fashion designer Victor Costa that Mary Kay Ash wore throughout her career, alongside the company's sales force uniforms representing different achievement levels. Display cases throughout the museum showcase the numerous awards and honors received by Mary Kay Ash and Mary Kay Inc. The museum tells the story of a businesswoman who built a company that impacted millions of women worldwide. General admission is free, and the museum is located in Addison, Texas.
