About House of Shine

House of Shine is a nonprofit museum of self-discovery in Historic Downtown Grapevine dedicated to helping visitors understand their unique strengths, interests, needs and experiences. The interactive Shine Museum features exhibits that guide visitors toward discovering ideas for brightening their corner of the world. The Bradley Roundtable, a one-of-a-kind table with a spinning top, facilitates community conversations about timely topics, and visitors can cast votes on the Question of the Week. The Shine Lab offers self-discovery workshops taught by certified instructors using the Be, Do, Share philosophy. A yellow school bus on-site provides story hours, classes and field trips designed for children. The Community Commons provides an informal gathering space with books, journals and coffee. A Volunteer Space celebrates community contributions through a thumbprint mural called the Voluntree. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website. The museum serves visitors ages five through ninety-five.
