About IPAT Museum of Porcelain Art

The IPAT Museum of Porcelain Art in Grapevine is dedicated to preserving and teaching porcelain and kiln art. Visitors explore exhibits in the museum's Master's Hall while learning about this traditional art form. The museum offers classes for different skill levels and age groups, including seminars on painting techniques like Duckling & Flowers, Tulips, Sweet Bunny, Diving Duck, and Monochrome Plate. Children can participate in kids' classes and half-day summer camps led by instructors including Jane Wright, Robin Carter, Nancy Benedetti, and Mariapaola Marchetti. Adults may attend beginner and experienced painter seminars. The facility also hosts museum socials and features exhibits supported by grants from the Texas Commission on the Arts. The museum operates as a Blue Star Museum in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. Parking is available in the rear of the building.
