The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden features Autumn at the Arboretum, a fall event showcasing harvest hues across its 66 acres in Dallas. Visitors walk through the Margaret Elizabeth Jonsson Color Garden with its sweeping beds of seasonal flowers, explore A Woman's Garden with sculptures and fountains, and tour the historic DeGolyer House. The arboretum hosts seasonal programming including Early Morning Member Walks, the Cool Thursdays Concert Series, and Pumpkins and Pints evenings at the Pumpkin Village with live entertainment and food. Tram tours depart throughout the day from the main entrance and Children's Garden. The grounds contain trial gardens testing over 1.4 million plants. Families with young children, accessibility needs, or varying mobility levels find the garden welcoming—complimentary wheelchairs are available at the ticket booth, and mobility scooters can be rented. Sensory backpacks with noise-reducing headphones are provided through a partnership with KultureCity. The arboretum is located in East Dallas along Garland Road.
