About Lampasas County Museum
The Lampasas County Museum, located just off the town square in Lampasas, preserves the history of Lampasas County through its permanent and special exhibits. Visitors explore displays dedicated to local heritage and regional history. The museum features a wildlife exhibit and wildlife mural that showcase the area's natural environment. The building itself contains a historic bank safe and original safety deposit boxes, which remain as artifacts of the county's past.
