The Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin showcases three floors of exhibition galleries featuring artifacts that change regularly, including Tom Cook's Blacksmith Shop, Tad Lucas memorabilia from rodeo history, Choctaw Code Talkers uniforms, a pilot-training aircraft, Jack Kilby's integrated circuit, and the bronze dolphin cannon from the French colonial shipwreck La Belle. Visitors explore these galleries alongside two immersive theaters: the IMAX Theatre with dual laser technology showing documentaries like Deep in the Heart: A Texas Wildlife Story and Flight of the Butterflies, and the Texas Spirit Theater with three screens presenting multisensory experiences including Shipwrecked and The Star of Destiny. The museum also operates The Star Cafe and a museum store. Since opening in 2001, the museum has welcomed more than eleven million visitors exploring Texas history and culture. The museum is located on the Texas Capitol Mall in downtown Austin and operates daily with tickets sold online through the venue's website.
