About Capital Cruises

Capital Cruises operates the largest all-electric boat fleet on the Highland Lakes in Austin, Texas. Visitors can watch the city's largest urban bat colony emerge at dusk on guided bat-watching tours, or explore downtown from public sightseeing tours. The company rents Duffy boats for private two-person dinners with catering, and Donut Boats accommodating up to ten people for group outings. Stand-up paddle boards are available for independent exploration of Lady Bird Lake. Guided kayak tours combine paddling with views of the skyline and bat emergence. For larger groups and special occasions, Capital Cruises arranges customized dinner and lunch cruises, wedding events, holiday celebrations, and team-building activities with entertainment options including live music and casino nights. Tickets for public tours are sold online through the venue's website.
