Holiday Ice Rink in Pershing Square is an outdoor skating rink in downtown Los Angeles where visitors glide across ice surrounded by towering skyscrapers. The rink hosts ice skating sessions throughout its operating season, with figure skates and hockey skates available to rent. The venue features special events including DJ Spotlight nights with LA's hottest DJs spinning soul, funk, disco, and pop music. Classical Sunday Skate Sessions pair graceful skating with soothing classical music from KUSC. The rink also offers Learn to Curl lessons hosted by the Hollywood Curling Club, where participants experience the sport of curling on ice. Throughout the season, the venue hosts skating exhibitions, opening celebrations with on-ice performances, and the annual Pershing Square Tree Lighting Ceremony. Located at Pershing Square in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, the rink is accessible by car, bus, or Metro transit.
