Historic Glen Mills Train Station is a stop on the West Chester Railroad's scenic train routes through the Chester Creek Valley in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. Visitors arrive by rail from West Chester and disembark at this restored 1880s station to explore the surrounding scenic picnic grove. The station serves as a layover point during various themed train excursions, including the Fall Foliage Express, which runs 90 minutes, and the Picnic Special, a two-hour relaxing journey where passengers can pack food and explore the grounds. The West Chester Railroad History Special offers live narration and photo stops while recounting the railroad's history dating to 1858. Additional seasonal events include the Halloween Special and Santa Express. The nearby Red Brick Winery provides an optional nearby activity. The volunteer-operated railroad operates multiple events throughout the year, and admission prices are published online.
