Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest is a seasonal ice skating venue on the Waterfront in Philadelphia. Visitors skate on an NHL-sized rink surrounded by thousands of sparkling lights and river views. The facility operates seven days a week and features heated cabins and fire pits for warming up between activities. Guests can enjoy boardwalk rides and games, purchase food and hot beverages, and view the signature holiday tree. The grounds are free to enter, though skating and skate rentals require separate admission. Heated cabins and fire pits are available to reserve in advance, as are special event rental experiences at the Rinkside Lounge. Parking on-site is limited, but guests can access the location by walking or biking along the riverfront trail, or by using rideshare and public transit.
