About Highland Park Bowl

Highland Park Bowl is a restored bowling alley in Los Angeles where visitors bowl on refurbished lanes in a historic 1927 building. Established during Prohibition, the structure originally housed doctors' offices, a pharmacy, and a music store on its upper floors. In 1933, the music venue acquired a live music permit, adding cultural entertainment to the venue. The bowling component eventually diminished as the space evolved into a music venue hosting local artists across various genres. Recently, restoration work peeled away decades of renovations, exposing the original facade and interior details. The restoration team refurbished the bowling lanes and discovered a collection of vintage items, which were restored and repurposed for display throughout the venue. Visitors can bowl on walk-in lanes available in one-hour increments, or arrange group reservations for two-hour packages. The venue welcomes all ages before 8 p.m. and operates 21+ after that time. Food delivery is available.
