The Fremont Veterans Memorial Building is a historic venue in Fremont, California, that hosts events and gatherings in a distinctive California Spanish style structure. Designed by associate architects George R. Klinkhardt and Mildred S. Meyers, the building was constructed between 1927 and 1935 as one of ten Veterans' Memorial Buildings throughout Alameda County. The interior features exposed roof trusses with stencil designs inspired by old Spanish ceilings, along with textured walls finished in simple colors with glaze. Original architectural details include walls of local Kraftile hollow clay tile, scrolled ironwork, and red Spanish tile. The building displays a terracotta bust of a World War I doughboy above the main entrance. An enclosed loggia originally opened onto a patio garden with a central flagpole, though a dining wing was added in 1951. The venue serves visitors interested in early twentieth-century memorial architecture and local historical design in Fremont.
