New Museum of Los Gatos, founded in 1965, is a public art and history museum serving the community. Visitors explore current and upcoming exhibitions, a permanent collection, and the Los Gatos History Project, which documents local heritage. The Collections Lab offers behind-the-scenes access to museum materials. The museum presents ArtNow, an annual high school exhibition featuring work by young artists. Virtual exhibition tours extend access to collections beyond in-person visits. Programs include workshops, school tours, Girl Scout activities, and the Life in Los Gatos Art Camp, designed for youth and families. Lectures and talks complement the exhibitions. The museum operates Thursday through Sunday and maintains a museum store on-site. Located on Main Street in Los Gatos, California, the institution functions as a nonprofit organization committed to connecting art, history, and education within the community.
