Saratoga Historical Park in Saratoga preserves the region's heritage through the Saratoga History Museum, a turn-of-the-century former drugstore displaying artifacts and photographs from early Saratoga. Exhibits trace the area's evolution from Muwekma Ohlone Indians through lumbermills, prune orchards, and Paul Masson's champagne fountains to present-day Saratoga. Special rotating exhibits feature the town's legendary residents including Senator Phelan, artist Theodore Wores, writer Kathleen Norris, and actress Olivia de Havilland. Adjacent to the museum stands the McWilliams House, built in 1852 and fully restored to show how the McWilliams family lived during the 1800s. The house features a blacksmith shop with period tools and audiovisual films demonstrating traditional blacksmith work. Educational programs serve both adults and children. Docent-led walking tours visit charming 100-year-old homes, the historic Oak Street School, and a World War I Memorial Arch. Self-guided bicycling tours using provided maps explore additional historic sites. The museum gift shop stocks local history books, postcards, and artwork.
We check this attraction’s own website for offers. The last time we read saratogahistory.com, on , there was no offer on it that we could verify.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
