About Agricultural History Project Center & Museum

The Agricultural History Project Center & Museum in Watsonville explores the agricultural heritage of Santa Cruz County and the Pajaro Valley through the Codiga Center & Museum. Visitors encounter educational exhibits and historical archives documenting the region's farming past. School groups and families spend hours examining displays that chronicle local agricultural development. The museum is located at the entrance to the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. A gift shop called Country Corner offers items related to agricultural history. The facility hosts Second Saturday on the Farm events throughout the year, providing additional opportunities to engage with the region's farming heritage. Group tours can be arranged by appointment. The venue offers handicapped accessible facilities for all visitors.
