About Wings of History Air Museum

Wings of History Air Museum houses the Ole Fahlin Memorial Propeller Shop, where visitors can watch craftsmen make and repair wooden props using traditional methods. The museum displays vintage aircraft, engines, and WWI and WWII exhibits across multiple hangars. A flight simulator lets guests pilot everything from the 1903 Wright Flyer to F-18 Hornets and the hypersonic Darkstar from Top Gun: Maverick. Kids and adults can sit in the captain's seat of a Vickers Viscount airliner or Beechcraft Musketeer, where volunteers demonstrate aircraft control using the yoke and rudder pedals. Model aircraft are featured throughout the facility. Aviation enthusiast volunteers lead tours adjusted for different visitor interests. The museum operates a gift shop stocked with aviation books, models, and clothing. A playground and picnic area are available for visitors.
