About Lindsay Wildlife Experience

Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek combines wildlife viewing with hands-on education and animal care. Visitors explore exhibits, attend preschool programs like Wild Wednesday, and participate in Junior Zookeeper Experiences where children ages seven to twelve can become a Tortologist for a Day or Lizologist for a Day. The venue offers Tiny Tuesdays for ages two to five, guided hikes including Fall Neon Scorpion Hikes, summer camp, and Private Animal Experiences. At its core stands Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital, which provides free veterinary care to injured and orphaned California native wildlife, treating thousands of animals annually with the goal of returning them to the wild. About 350 volunteers donate thousands of hours each year supporting this work.
