About Red Oak Victory

Red Oak Victory is a restored WWII Victory ship in Richmond, California that visitors tour with self-guided audio or docent-led options, including access to the engine room, decks, cargo holds, and navigation spaces. Volunteers run the ship and museum entirely. Day visitors plan for one to two hours exploring restored shipboard areas or watching restoration footage and ship history videos. The venue hosts special events including the Tiki Pancake Breakfast on September 13, featuring hot pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage cooked in the original World War II galley, plus live Aloha music and flower leis for the first 120 guests. A limited number of same-day ship tours are available at a discounted rate with breakfast purchase.
