About Berkeley Playhouse

Berkeley Playhouse produces live musical theater at the Julia Morgan Theater in Berkeley, California. Visitors attend MainStage productions including Legally Blonde the Musical, Disney's Frozen, Come From Away, and Shrek the Musical, as well as youth productions such as YouthStage Cats and Hadestown Teen Edition. The theater offers fall musical theater classes for grades K-3 inspired by The Jungle Book and for grades 4-6 inspired by The Addams Family, plus Triple Threat classes for grades 4-7. YouthStage productions for fall include Disney's Frozen for grades 5-8, Anastasia the Musical for grades 8-12, and Musical Theater Revue for grades 6-12. An Adult 4-Show Season Pass costs $178, providing one ticket to each of the four MainStage musicals and the Summer Spotlight production, saving up to 26 percent off full-price single ticket rates. Season Pass holders receive free unlimited ticket exchanges and priority seat reservations. The theater is located at the intersection of College and Derby avenues.
