Walnut Creek on Ice is an outdoor ice skating and ice sliding venue located in Civic Park in downtown Walnut Creek, California. Visitors glide on the Bay Area's only outdoor ice rink beneath festive lights while surrounded by holiday music. The attraction features ice skating sessions and Frosty's Summit Ice Slide, a separate ice slide experience with a minimum height requirement of 32 inches for double riders with an adult or 36 inches for solo riders. Each 90-minute session accommodates individual activities or combo experiences combining skating and sliding. The rink offers skate rentals and walkers to assist with balance during sessions, available on a first-come, first-served basis. A Rinkside Experience allows groups to reserve fire pits for warming up and enjoying cocoa. The venue operates as a completely cashless facility accepting digital payment methods.
