About Pacific Bus Museum

The Pacific Bus Museum in Fremont showcases fully restored, running-and-driving buses spanning the 1930s to 1990s. Visitors see the museum's collection of over 20 buses, including iconic Greyhound parlor coaches, school buses, urban transit buses, and specialty vehicles. The fleet features Peninsula Charter Lines #216, Greyhound Scenicruiser #8005, Los Gatos High School #4, Glacier National Park #77, and Peerless Stages #246, among others. Beyond the buses themselves, the museum maintains archives of original materials from bus makers and companies, plus historical ephemera from California and the western United States. These archives are available to researchers and bus owners. Member volunteers operate the museum and share knowledge about the collection. The buses are mechanically operational and regularly appear at special events, including an annual open house with food service. The museum operates on select Saturdays in Fremont, California.
