About Dorrance Dome
The Dorrance Dome is an immersive digital environment at the Arizona Science Center in downtown Phoenix featuring a 60-foot LED dome with 9,026 panels and 44 million LEDs delivering 8K+ resolution imagery. Visitors sit in 200 premium seats, including fixed and movable options plus ADA-compliant spaces, and experience 360-degree daytime shows exploring space, science, and art. The venue uses the Cosm CX System and Digistar planetarium software to create fully immersive presentations with vibrant color, motion, and powerful sound. Programming includes classic favorites and limited-run features alongside exclusive after-hours themed evenings and special collaborations. The experience suits anyone interested in science and visual storytelling, from children to adults seeking detailed exploration of the universe and scientific concepts.
