About Gecko Climbing Gym

Gecko Climbing Gym is a 14,000-square-foot indoor climbing facility in north Phoenix where visitors climb on roped walls, boulder, and participate in yoga classes. The gym features over 7,000 climbing holds across multiple wall types: roped top rope and lead walls reaching 30 feet, bouldering walls at 15 feet, a dedicated 30-foot lead cave, and a 15-foot treadwall that rotates as climbers ascend. Additional training equipment includes a 12-by-12-foot Kilter Board, a ninja grip course for upper body strength and agility, and a kids' wall with a spiral slide. The yoga studio offers mat and aerial yoga options beneath a star ceiling. Upstairs, a fitness center provides premium training equipment. The facility also includes a gear shop and features hand-painted desert-sunset murals throughout. First-time visitors watch an orientation video and receive on-site certification in bouldering, auto-belays, and top rope techniques before climbing. Kids ages 4 through 15 have age-separated climbing programs. Youth climbing teams are available. Walk-ins are welcome at this north Phoenix location.
