About Sunnyslope Historical Society
Sunnyslope Historical Society & Museum preserves and shares the history of the Sunnyslope neighborhood in Phoenix, which began as a planned forty-acre subdivision in 1911. Visitors explore exhibits about local heritage and special collections housed at the museum and archive on Hatcher Road. The society hosts speakers throughout the year on topics ranging from Phoenix television history to the broader Sunnyslope community. The research library serves those interested in detailed historical information about the area. Past events have included exhibits featuring Phoenix TV history and programs with Arizona historians and musicians. General admission is free. The museum operates on a limited schedule Tuesday through Friday, with additional visits available by appointment.
