About Cosanti Originals

Cosanti Originals in Paradise Valley showcases the experimental architecture and sustainable design philosophy of visionary founder Paolo Soleri. Visitors take guided tours through historic residential and workshop structures to observe artisans creating bronze and ceramic windbells, jewelry, and home accessories by hand. Weekday tours are scheduled to include observation of the foundry's morning bronze pours, where molten metal is cast into bell forms. The site's distinctive earth-cast buildings exemplify Soleri's vision of architecture blending with the natural environment. Specialty tours offer deeper exploration of architectural details and the technical earth-cast construction methods used throughout the structures. Hands-on workshops allow visitors to participate directly in the craftwork traditions. The on-site gallery displays finished windbells and home goods created through these handmade processes.
