About CREATE at Arizona Science Center®

CREATE at Arizona Science Center® is a 6,500 square-foot makerspace where visitors design, build and experiment with science, technology, engineering, art and math. Using state-of-the-art computer-controlled equipment and traditional crafting tools, makers cut, saw, code, hammer, sew, paint and solder projects of their own design. The space operates as a community hub inspired by an inventor's workshop, art studio and laboratory combined. Skill Studio Workshops offer one-hour beginner sessions in woodworking, 3D printing, laser cutting and sewing, each producing a take-home keepsake. Homeschool Workshops run two-hour sessions connecting the same skills to Arizona State Science Standards. Shop Day, held on select Saturdays monthly, provides dedicated studio time for independent project work in a collaborative setting with staff support. Special events like Dungeons & Dragons & Dates combine tabletop gaming with hands-on making. The attraction is located in Phoenix, Arizona, and tickets are sold online through the Arizona Science Center's website.
