Arizona Railway Museum is a volunteer-run railroad history museum where visitors walk through twelve restored passenger cars including Santa Fe observation cars, coaches, a dome car, and a Southern Pacific horse car built in 1879. The self-guided tour encompasses an open-air yard with equipment placards describing historical significance, a display building housing smaller artifacts, and a gift shop. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the crushed-rock yard surface, and visitors should note that original-width car doorways require stair climbing to enter.
