About Carpinteria Valley Museum of History
The Carpinteria Valley Museum of History is operated by the Carpinteria Valley Historical Society, a nonprofit educational organization. Visitors explore exhibit galleries displaying the region's history and can browse items in the gift shop. The museum maintains a research library that supports the organization's educational mission. School groups and other organized parties may arrange tours by appointment to learn about local collections and archives. Individuals interested in research can also schedule appointments to access the museum's materials.
