Condor Express Whale Watching operates California's largest and fastest whale watching boat, a high-speed catamaran with a wave-piercing hull that reaches the Santa Barbara Channel in under an hour. Visitors board for multi-hour tours led by expert naturalists from the Channel Islands Naturalist Corps, who point out humpback whales, gray whales, killer whales, dolphins, and other marine life as the boat travels through waters that recorded over 700 whale encounters in recent months. The vessel features a full galley serving breakfast, lunch, and beverages, plus a smooth, stable ride designed for comfort at speed. Tours also visit the four Northern Channel Islands—Anacapa, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, and San Miguel—part of Channel Islands National Park, with chances to explore anchorages and the Painted Cave. The boat operates seasonal whale watching trips, private charters, and special cruises including sunset music events and holiday celebrations. Children under five ride whale watching tours free.
