About Santa Barbara Whale Watch
Santa Barbara Whale Watch offers high-end ocean excursions aboard a 28-foot Axopar departing from the SB Sailing Center in Santa Barbara. Visitors board for 3.5-hour trips or extended outings of six or more hours to observe whales and dolphins in the Santa Barbara Channel. Summer excursions focus on diverse whale species, while winter trips follow gray whales during their migration between Alaskan feeding grounds and breeding lagoons in Baja California. Winter visitors may also encounter killer whales and various dolphin species including short-beaked and long-beaked common dolphins. The channel offers opportunities to observe these marine mammals in their natural habitat. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website. The business operates out of Santa Barbara, California, providing small-group access to oceanic wildlife sightings throughout the year.
