Museum of Ventura County comprises three distinct facilities exploring the region's history and heritage. The main museum in Ventura presents rotating exhibits and programs including lecture series and cultural celebrations. The Agriculture Museum, located in Santa Paula in a historic 1888 mill building, preserves the region's farming and ranching legacy through exhibits and a broad collection of tractors and farming implements. Visitors encounter a living beehive and interactive activity stations designed for children. The Albinger Archaeological Museum rounds out the offerings with archaeological exhibits. Together these locations help visitors of all ages understand Ventura County's unique agricultural industry, shaped by the region's climate, geography, and the ingenuity of its people. The museums also host events, classes, and digital programs exploring Ventura County history through puzzles and videos featuring vintage recipes alongside modern chefs.
