Explore Channel Islands – Alolkoy – Santa Barbara operates vessel-supported sea cave kayaking and snorkeling expeditions in Channel Islands National Park. Visitors paddle one-way downwind through the world's largest sea caves, enter underwater kelp forests with provided wetsuits and snorkel gear, and watch for 33 species of whales and dolphins during crossings to Santa Cruz Island. The Painted Cave Expedition lasts 5.5 hours with lunch and beverages included, while guides handle all logistics from a land-based location. Small groups receive instruction from experienced guides on easy kayak entry from the boat's swim step, then continue paddling to a private cove for snorkeling. The company, guide-owned and family-operated since 1991, serves children ages 5 and up. Located in Santa Barbara, California, Explore Channel Islands offers gift cards at twenty-five percent off through December 25th according to their website.
