The Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art occupies the top floor of the Adams Center for the Visual Arts, a state-of-the-art facility at the heart of Westmont College's campus in Montecito. Visitors explore rotating exhibitions drawn from the museum's permanent collection of nearly 2,500 objects, established local artists, and loaned works from other institutions. The collection spans broad artistic movements and periods, featuring work by both local and international artists across a wide range of subjects and media. The Adams Center itself features environmental design with natural ventilation and lighting throughout its three levels, including classrooms and studios with large window-walls that open into indoor-outdoor spaces. The building earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Gold certification. Self-guided exhibitions rotate approximately every two months, with an average of five to six per season. Group docent tours are available on weekdays by advance appointment for groups of eight or more. Free parking is available on campus.
Hours: Monday-Friday 10am-4pm, Saturdays 11am-5pm
