Camp Roberts Historical Museum preserves the history of one of America's largest and most historic Army installations in Monterey County. The main museum building features a video room and a Wall of Fame displaying celebrity trainees who trained at Camp Roberts. The Museum Annex showcases battle tanks on display. Visitors explore exhibits dedicated to specific conflicts, including World War II uniforms like the blue denim basic training uniform worn in the early months of the war, Korean War keepsakes and patches from the 40th Division, Vietnam War displays, and Iraq and Afghanistan exhibits. The Medal of Honor Wall recognizes military achievements. A celebrity exhibit highlights famous actors and entertainers who served at the installation. Children can climb on displayed tanks. The museum is open to the general public on Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding some National Holidays.
Hours: Thursday and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
