Bolsa Chica State Beach in Orange County is a popular surfing destination where visitors spend the day swimming, surfing, and walking the multiuse trail. Dogs are permitted on the bike path but not on the sand. The park operates from 6AM to 10PM daily, with entry gates closing at 9PM and a visitor center open 9AM to 4PM. The beach extends along Pacific Coast Highway from Golden West to Warner Avenue. Trailers and motorhomes up to 40 feet are accommodated. Visitors with a valid California State Parks Disabled Discount Pass receive day-use rates of $7.50 per vehicle, or $10 during summer weekends and holidays. Fourth graders and their families enter free. Seniors ages 62 and older pay $19 per vehicle on summer weekends and holidays. These rates and passes are verified at parks.ca.gov.
