About Huntington State Beach

Huntington State Beach is a 121-acre Orange County beach where visitors surf, swim, sunbathe, fish, and watch sunsets. The beach operates daily from 6am to 10pm, with a visitor center open weekdays from 9am to 4pm. Dogs are permitted on the multiuse trail and bike path but not on the sand. The park accepts California State Parks passes including the California Explorer Vehicle Day Use Annual Pass, Distinguished Veteran Pass, Golden Bear Pass, and Senior Golden Bear Pass. Visitors with a valid CA State Parks Disabled Discount Pass receive reduced day use rates: $7.50 per vehicle on regular days and $10 per vehicle on summer weekends and holidays, compared to standard rates of $15 and $20 respectively.
