The Newland House Museum is the oldest residence in Huntington Beach, maintained by the Huntington Beach Historical Society for public tours. Built in 1898, the house belonged to pioneers William and Mary Newland and their ten children. Visitors explore the original home while learning about the family's agricultural legacy on their 500-acre ranch. The Newland property once extended across a vast area where the family cultivated lima beans, sugar beets, celery, and chili peppers. The museum offers educational tours that showcase period furnishings and artifacts from Huntington Beach's early settlement era. Admission is charged at published rates that differ for adults and children. Tours operate on select weekends throughout the month during morning hours. The museum is located in Huntington Beach, California.
Hours: Saturday - Sunday 1st and 3rd weekends of the month 8 a.m. - 12 Noon
