About Blue Planet

Blue Planet in Woodland Hills is a creative play space where visitors build structures and objects using USA-made blocks. Children construct animals, rocket ships, robots, and castles, then create imaginary places like houses, factories, and cities. The child-directed, open-ended environment encourages self-expression through play, with visitors making their own rules and dramatic scenarios. The facility welcomes anybody who likes to build, including preschoolers, special needs groups, adults, seniors, and brain injury patients. Birthday parties and corporate events are accommodated. Building activities support language development and STEM learning as children follow through on plans, adjust when needed, and develop flexible thinking. Unstructured play at Blue Planet helps form neural connections in both children's and adults' brains while developing logical thinking skills.
