About Valley Relics Museum

Valley Relics Museum houses neon signs, classic cars, rare documents, vintage yearbooks, restaurant menus, western clothing, vintage BMX bicycles, and a playable retro arcade spread across two airplane hangars at Van Nuys Airport in Lake Balboa. The museum's collections tell the history of the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas through pop culture artifacts, including vintage menus from the Gorsky Collection and hundreds of historical matchbooks representing former Valley businesses. Visitors can tour the exhibits on Saturdays and Sundays, and school and group tours are available by appointment. The museum charges admission, with children ten and under admitted free. On Tuesdays, general admission is $10, reduced from the regular price. Memberships offering unlimited visits and early access to new exhibits are available.
