About American Military Museum
American Military Museum displays 120 vehicles including the M7 Priest howitzer, M170 jeep ambulance, and M62 truck wrecker across its outdoor grounds in South El Monte. Visitors explore captivating exhibits covering American history and military history from the Civil War through the Vietnam War, with study guides available for each conflict. The LA Tank Club offers members monthly RC tank battles where participants reenact historic military conflicts. Group tours accommodate schools and organizations, with custom experiences tailored for groups of 20 or more. The museum accepts volunteers and provides educational resources to students and the public. Families explore together on weekends and Fridays, when the outdoor facility operates; the museum closes on rainy days for safety. Admission is charged and published online.
