About Warrenville Historical Society City Museum

The Warrenville Historical Museum & Art Gallery occupies the historic Greek Revival Style Albright Building, once used as an art studio and gallery by artist Adam Emory Albright and his twin sons Ivan and Malvin. Visitors explore exhibits displaying objects and documents that illustrate Warrenville's history since the museum's opening in 1984. The museum now encompasses the entire building, having expanded from its original single room. The Historical Society, organized in 1980 as a self-supporting nonprofit, collects and preserves materials related to the community's past. The institution offers programs and rotating exhibits throughout the year. Visitors can also access a free mobile walking tour of historic Warrenville online, or arrange special tours and programs by contacting the museum directly. The attraction is located in Warrenville, Illinois.
