About Arlington Heights Memorial Library

Arlington Heights Memorial Library invites visitors to explore books, movies, and television shows across fiction, nonfiction, and memoir collections. The main library houses the general collection alongside the Makerplace, a separate facility providing space for hands-on creative projects like woodworking, digital media creation, and crafting. A modern bookmobile brings library services directly to neighborhoods with enhanced accessibility. The Senior Center Reading Room offers book discussions, technology classes, and checkout services for older adults. All locations feature fully accessible entrances with wheelchair ramps and elevators. Visitors can browse materials, attend programming, receive technology instruction, and work on creative projects. Staff members at public service desks provide assistance in person, by phone, or by text. The library serves residents and visitors seeking reading material, educational classes, and community spaces for making and learning.
