About Tippecanoe Historical Society & Museum
The Tippecanoe Historical Society & Museum in Tipp City preserves archives and artifacts related to the region's past, offering visitors research and educational resources. The museum houses family heirlooms and historical materials that support genealogy research, home property background investigation, and history for building restoration. Located in a building that formerly housed the Tipp City Post Office in the early 1930s, the museum opened to the public in 1991. The society identifies, collects and accessiones materials pertaining to Tipp City and Monroe Township. Beyond the museum gallery, the organization hosts informational meetings with guest speakers, sponsors field trips, and conducts tours of Tipp City's historic district. The society also works with youth and adult groups and hosts social events for members.
