About Clinton County History Center

The Clinton County History Center in Wilmington preserves and interprets Clinton County's past through exhibits, research services, and community programs housed in the historic Rombach Place, an 1850s home. Visitors explore seasonal exhibits including America 250, which connects Clinton County to the American Revolution, and the Bottles of Clinton County, a collection of vintage glass representing local industries. The museum displays works by internationally known Quaker artist Eli Harvey, Carl Moon photographs, artifacts from General James W. Denver's military career, prehistoric Native American objects, children's toys, and domestic materials.
