About Miami Valley Veterans Museum

The Miami Valley Veterans Museum explores the military service and personal stories of veterans from the Miami Valley region. Visitors walk through exhibits spanning from 1745 to the present day, viewing uniforms, personal effects, and artifacts from conflicts including the Revolutionary War, Civil War, World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq and Afghanistan. The museum centerpiece is "Veterans Marching Through Time," a 42-foot color mural serving as a historic timeline. A Media Room, Research Library, and Military History Education Center support deeper learning. The Memorial exhibit features a scale model of the World Trade Center and wreckage from the 9/11 attack. Monthly Veterans Coffees, special events, outreach programs, and online offerings connect visitors with veteran stories. The museum represents all six military branches. Located in Troy, Ohio, the five-acre site welcomes those interested in military history and veteran experiences.
