The Hollywood Museum, housed in the historic Max Factor Building in Los Angeles, displays ten thousand authentic showbiz treasures spanning over a century of cinema and television history. Visitors explore costumes, props, and photographs from silent films, talkies, Hollywood's Golden Era, and film noir productions. Current blockbuster exhibits include Superhero Legends, featuring life-like sculptures and original costumes of Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Superman, and Wonder Woman, alongside memorabilia from The Bionic Woman. The Marilyn exhibit showcases the largest collection of authentic Marilyn Monroe items, including film costumes, publicity gowns, personal correspondence, and rare photographs. The museum also features exhibits dedicated to Max Factor, Laurel and Hardy, and The Catwalk. Visitors can spend hours examining costumes and props from classic films and television shows. The museum opens Wednesday through Sunday and welcomes families, students, film enthusiasts, and entertainment historians interested in Hollywood's cultural legacy.
