About The Health Museum

The Health Museum in Houston fosters curiosity about health and medical science through hands-on exhibits and educational programs. Visitors explore the Amazing Body Pavilion, the DeBakey Cell Lab with its seven bilingual science experiments, and traveling exhibits in the Sue Trammell Whitfield Gallery. The museum offers field trip programs for groups, Scouts BSA merit badge experiences covering Personal Fitness, First Aid, and Emergency Preparedness, and the INNERsections film series exploring health and humanities. The coming Body Worlds exhibit features real human specimens preserved through plastination. A visit suits families, students, and anyone interested in how the human body works. The Health Museum is located in Houston's Museum District. EBT cardholders receive admission for three dollars for up to four family members, Metro riders get fifty percent off admission, and ASTC or Smithsonian Affiliate members receive free general admission.
