About Eternal Gandhi Museum Houston

The Eternal Gandhi Museum Houston is dedicated to preserving Mahatma Gandhi's legacy and promoting universal values of truth, nonviolence, peace, love, and service. Visitors explore exhibits highlighting Gandhi's transformative philosophy of nonviolence and its global impact on civil rights and social justice movements. The museum showcases stories of peace leaders worldwide who achieved social change through peaceful means. Guests can choose between self-guided visits, where they lead their own tours at their own pace, or docent-led tours with trained guides who provide deeper understanding of the exhibits and methods of nonviolent conflict resolution. The museum also hosts signature events including the Annual Walk for Peace and the Lights for Peace Celebration, along with yoga and meditation programs. Located in Houston, Texas, the museum is the only one in America dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Free parking is available on site.
